Acceptance of these terms
By booking a room, reserving a table at the Harbourfront Chef's Table, purchasing a spa treatment or otherwise using the facilities of Maxcasinolic, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept them, please do not complete your booking.
These terms apply to all guests, visitors and event attendees at our property at 1818 Cornwall Ave, Vancouver, BC V6J 1C7, Canada.
Reservations and payments
All reservations are subject to availability and require a valid payment method. Standard room bookings require a one-night deposit. Celebration packages and full-property events require a fifty percent deposit at the time of confirmation.
Rates are quoted in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable GST, the Vancouver destination fee, gratuities and any optional services. Rates confirmed more than sixty days in advance are guaranteed against increases.
Check-in, check-out and identification
- Check-in begins at 3:00pm and check-out is at 12:00pm, unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID and the payment card used for the deposit
- Guests must be at least 19 years of age to use the mezzanine gaming floor and to purchase alcohol
- Guests aged 12 and under stay free when sharing an existing bed arrangement with a parent or guardian
Conduct, liability and damage
Guests are responsible for their own conduct and for the conduct of any accompanying visitors. Any damage caused to rooms, fixtures, furnishings or shared facilities will be charged to the payment method on file, based on repair or replacement cost.
Maxcasinolic accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal property, except where such loss is caused by our negligence and where local law provides otherwise. Valuables should be stored in the in-room safe or with the front desk.
We reserve the right to refuse service or remove any guest whose behaviour endangers staff, other guests, or the property. No refund is provided in such cases.
Cancellation, modification and no-show
Standard reservations may be cancelled without penalty up to 48 hours before arrival. Inside 48 hours, one night is charged. Celebration and buyout bookings have separate terms as confirmed at the time of booking.
No-shows on restaurant reservations are charged at CA$95 per seat. We appreciate a phone call if plans change — the kitchen plans portions the same afternoon.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in that province. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
