This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal information when you stay with us, dine at our Chef's Table, browse maxcasinolic.com, or contact our guest services team.
We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). Where guests are located in the European Economic Area, we also apply the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a matter of hospitality practice.

We only collect information that is necessary to deliver the service you have requested. This typically includes:

- Reservation details including arrival and departure dates, room preferences, dietary requirements and accessibility needs
- Payment information including card type, last four digits and transaction history
- Identification documents required by British Columbia gaming and liquor regulators where applicable

- Communications you send to us by email, phone, or through our on-site contact forms

Retention, security and your rights
We retain personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Reservation records are kept for seven years to satisfy Canadian tax and regulatory requirements. Website analytics data is retained for twenty-six months in aggregate form.
We protect your information with encrypted transport, restricted access controls, employee confidentiality agreements and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we take our obligations seriously.
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to ask for corrections, to withdraw consent for marketing, and to request deletion where no legal obligation requires us to keep the data.
